It is with immense sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Artistic Director, Suzanne Doyle Yerxa, a guiding light and creative force whose influence will resonate for generations. For more than 40 years, Suzanne devoted herself to creating theatre magic in the Kennebecasis Valley through KV Players, leaving an indelible mark on the community she loved so deeply.
Suzanne was far more than a director—she was a mentor, a visionary, and a cherished friend. Her passion for storytelling and the performing arts was matched only by her dedication to the people around her. She had an extraordinary gift for recognizing potential in others and nurturing it with patience, encouragement, and care. Through her leadership, KV Players became not just a theatre group, but a welcoming home where creativity thrived and lifelong bonds were formed.
Her legacy lives on in every performance she shaped, every individual she inspired, and every moment of joy she brought to the stage. Many who had the privilege of working with Suzanne credit her with igniting their love for theatre and helping them grow both artistically and personally.
As we come to terms with this profound loss, we will be pausing our audition process to allow time for reflection and remembrance. This moment of pause is an opportunity for our community to honor Suzanne’s remarkable life and the enduring impact she has left behind.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to guide KV Players, and her memory will remain a source of inspiration for all who carry forward her passion for theatre.
